What Pilates offers

The Pilates method was developed in 1920 by Joseph Pilates as a recovery program for his musculoskeletal problems and evolved as a method of beneficial exercise that provides an intense sense of well-being. Pilates is one of the most famous exercise methods in the modern western world and can really make a difference to your body and health. Its benefits are many. It is not just a "fad", but a system of exercises that has been proven effective in improving fitness and body wellness. There are a number of reasons why pilates has gained popularity and has become popular in the current era.

The method strengthens the muscles of the body, including the muscles of the back, torso and abdomen. Strengthening these muscles can help improve support and stability of the body, thereby reducing pain in the back and waist area.

The method enhances body awareness and recognition of suggested movements and body positioning in space. This awareness can help address the tendency for muscle tension and relieve pain associated with poor posture and poor use of the body. By improving circulation and blood flow to the muscles, pain can be reduced and muscle relaxation can be achieved. Pilates exercises are suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. From beginner to advanced, pilates exercises are tailored to each person's individual needs and abilities.
